long weekend retreat about Joy - with Stephen Fulder, with the assistance of Ellaya Eyal Mor - for experienced practitioners

Joy and contentment, are usually so brief, and so passing. We come down from the mountain back to the market place. We always end up losing what we have. The great night ends with the morning headache. Or as Jack Kornfield writes: 'After the ecstacy, the laundry'.
The reason is that the joys are dependent on a set of conditions, and when the conditions change the joy vanishes. But can we experience joy that is independent of conditions? That is, a 'default' deep happiness that nothing can steal from us?
In this weekend we will learn and practice two basic directions. One is the identification and release of the friction and resistance that prevents us from being contented. The second is learning to listen in quietness and sensitivity to the joyful dance of life within and around us.
